What does IFC do? IFC helps educate poor, disabled and vulnerable children by providing scholarships and vocational training thus enabling the poorest children to gain a basic education and equip themselves with the skills necessary to work their way out of poverty.
Where does IFC work? We work in the Kachin, Shan and Karen states, mainly in rural villages.
Can I volunteer? Please see the volunteering section of this site for more information.
How can I support your charity? Money is by far the most useful thing. We can buy what we need in Myanmar for less than the cost overseas and money allows us to buy what is needed most. In addition, you are supporting the local economy.
Can I visit the Charity? Absolutely, by doing so you are helping the local tourism industry and providing sustainable tourism income toward local communities. Please contact an ethical Myanmar Asian Tour agency at the below web address.
By using Asian Tour service, fifty percent of the profits generated from such tours will help fund IFC projects. |
