International Friendship Charity [IFC] was set up by a group of experienced young entrepreneurs. They realised that there were limited NGO charities operating in Myanmar (Burma), especially for educational projects. IFC helps educate poor, disabled and vulnerable children by providing scholarships and vocational training thus enabling the poorest children to gain a basic education and equip themselves with the skills necessary to work their way out of poverty.

Our philosophy is simple. We aim to help the poorest rural populations work their way out of poverty through education and training.

Our team consists of university students, experienced entrepreneurs, business and civil leaders and coordinators who share a common passion: to make a positive difference to the lives of the next generation.
